2 b2b very public self-destructions: Ariana Grande’s Petal music video (gore/anorexia) and Perez Hilton’s TikTok livestream (gore/obesity), ending with police at his door and a hospitalization. I’d argue that we’re seeing different fruits of the same tree.
Perez built his career on cruelty by outing people, posting revenge porn of teenagers, and blackmailing famous/powerful women. For two decades he used his platform as supply, now that culture has moved on from celebrating open hostility and ASPD/NPD, he’s losing his mind.
We are entering a season of ego collapses and grand identity shifts at every level of society. Enjoy.
